Thomas Jefferson High School’s School of Entrepreneurial Studies and Applied Sciences teaches students to apply the entrepreneurial mindset (perseverance, lateral thinking, passion, taking calculated risks, taking responsibility and recognizing opportunity) to all aspects of life. Students applied that process in creating "Starry Night", which features classic lines from literature.

Art teacher Anthony George, English teachers Katherine Saia and Tina Bianchi, along with student artists, worked together to design this bench.
