The Harley School is an independent school offering a college preparatory program for Nursery-Grade 12. Rigorous academic programs and exceptional fine arts curriculum are coupled with unique offerings and a commitment to community and international service, in a nurturing environment. In 2011, Harley will build the New Harley Barn—designed to be a “living building”—giving back more to the earth than it consumes.

In-house designer/art director and Harley alumna Lisa Osborne Lange was joined by daughter Catherine Lange, a Cornell student studying Design and Environmental Analysis, to create this bench. "Plant a New Seed" is dedicated to Mark von Bucher, a former HAC athlete who was enrolled at Cornell in pre-veterinary studies.
