Canandaigua Academy works to bring each student to full potential, instilling in them a commitment to excellence and participation. Canandaigua’s history is illustrated on this bench, with images that depict natural landmarks and historic sites.

Art teacher Arlene McDonald, a graduate of Nazareth College, worked with student artists Morgan Macklin, Victoria Karnisky, Emma Reed, Brooke Tillotson, Ryan Germain, Cari Gomez and Nikole Blowers to create "Legends of Canandaigua".
